Meet Your Coach
Hello! My name is Jacquie, and I have been climbing for over 10 years. Climbing has been life-changing, providing purpose, fostering friendships, offering valuable life lessons, and never ceasing to captivate my interest.
Through climbing, I have found a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment. It has become more than just a hobby; it's a way of life that continuously challenges and inspires me.
I wish to share all I have learned and help climbers refine their approach to training toward their athletic goals in a way that encompasses the sport's technical, physical, and mental aspects.
I coach climbers of all ages and levels. Whether your goals are to compete at a high level, improve your climbing technique and strength, or send your first of a grade outside, I’m here for it and it would be my honour to be part of that journey!
Why Train With Me?
I prioritize bringing empathy and understanding in every conversation, as I recognize the challenges of maintaining motivation and a positive mindset. I aim to offer unwavering support and assistance to the best of my abilities, ensuring an enhanced climbing experience tailored to your needs.
I avoid one-size-fits-all approaches and strive to provide a unique and enjoyable training program that pushes you beyond your limits. Throughout our journey together, we will form a team, with me holding you accountable to your training while encouraging open communication so you can freely express what works best for you.
I have dedicated over a decade to training and climbing. I have spent countless hours researching and experimenting with various training tools and protocols. This extensive experience has taught me the most effective ways to train, improve, and achieve our goals. Are you ready to accomplish great things together?
My Background
In 2014, I started climbing at the gym, Rock Oasis, as part of an after-school program. Initially, it was very casual; I didn’t even know climbing was a sport! However, I soon discovered my passion for climbing and personal growth when my climbing partner moved away, and I started bouldering on my own since I was too shy to talk to anyone at the gym. I discovered a strong passion for climbing, especially bouldering. It connected me with my mind and body like nothing else I’ve experienced. I wanted to master this sport. Today, I am aware that the path to mastery knows no end. Yet, it is an endless pursuit I embrace.
Climbing has allowed me to explore the world, taking me to the most beautiful places nature offers across the US and Canada… Recently, I've expanded my horizons to competition climbing, making it to the National level. After completing my BA in Media Production at Toronto Metropolitan University, I realized climbing was my calling, prompting me to pursue a career in this field. In 2021, I began my career as a professional routesetter and climbing coach. Since then, I've loved working with climbers of all skill levels and spreading my passion for the sport. Helping others achieve their goals and being a positive influence in their lives is the most rewarding!

I wish to help athletes reach their highest potential by giving them a unique training plan that fits their goals and lifestyle. My approach focuses on all three components of climbing performance: the physical, technical, and mental. In order to maximize training and performance, I incorporate concepts of periodization, controlled volume, duration, and load, injury/overtraining prevention, and nutrition optimization.

Why Atomique?
adjective
of or forming a single irreducible unit or component in a larger system.
a·tom·ic
The word "atomic" (“atomique” is the French translation) carries a multitude of meanings, each of which aligns perfectly with the essence of my coaching practice. It represents the fundamental building blocks of matter, symbolizing the small steps we must take every day to build our foundation and become the best athletes we can be.
Just as atoms combine to create powerful molecules, my approach takes into account the three pillars of climbing performance: strength, technique, and mindset. Atomique Coaching is here to help you hone your skills and build confidence.
Additionally, the term "atomic" embodies the notion of energy and vitality, signifying the dynamic and transformative nature of climbing and training. Through our atomic approach, we strive to revolutionize climbing training and empower climbers, enabling them to harness their full potential.
Ultimately, "atomic" epitomizes the fusion of vision, passion, and determination, driving our athletes forward on their journey to greatness.
