My coaching practice focuses on the three pillars of climbing performance: strength, technique, and mindset.
Strength: Climbing engages the entire body and entails inherent risks, often placing us in uncomfortable and potentially precarious positions. Strength training can be a valuable tool to help us address these challenges and minimize the likelihood of injuries. Strength training can help us develop the strength necessary to conquer any climb.
Technique: Climbing is a skill-based sport, so I take a climbing-first approach to coaching my clients. This way, they spend their time where it matters most—building experience on the wall and learning to move as efficiently as possible.
Mindset: A resilient mindset is essential for pursuing our goals in climbing or any other aspect of life. The cornerstone of success lies in cultivating the right mentality - building confidence and believing in your ability to succeed. Just as we train our muscles and refine our techniques, our minds also require training. By strengthening our mental fortitude, we unlock our hidden potential and gain the ability to navigate setbacks effectively.
